Several reports about Rhea consulting her father for Sushant’s medications, and other such reports surfaced on the Internet. Amidst all this, Rhea’s friend has now spoken up about the actress’ relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput.
HuffPost India spoke to three of Rhea’s friends, one of whom shared that Rhea gave up film offers to spend time with Sushant. The friend knew Rhea since her early days in the film industry. The friend recalled the first time they met Rhea and Sushant as a couple. “When we first met them as a couple at a common friend’s house, everybody was taken by how quickly they had fallen for each other. We were all happy.” The friend said that it was their honeymoon period so instead of making them feel guilty about not spending enough time with friends, they just let the couple be.
The friend revealed that as their relationship progresses, Rhea would often cancel salon visits or dinner dates at the last minute. “I’d just get a message that she needs to be with Sushant, that he’s unwell,” said the friend.

The friend further revealed that Rhea opted out of 2 films in the year 2019 just to spend as much time with Sushant as possible. The friend added that she would advise Rhea to keep working and finish her projects. “When you’re so deeply in love, you feel everything that your partner feels, you feel their pain as your own,” said the friend.
